You can't go wrong here. Famous among locals; older, young and very people; you see all ages enjoying awesome location, open wide concept restaurant. Nice place to hang out with family and friends. Now about food; the brisket is yummy tender and tasty. I ordered Z-man beef brisket and banana pudding. Both items were delicious anf are worth the drive. Highly recomemded!!

Driving through Kansas and wanted some BBQ. Lo and behold Joe’s is right next to our hotel, coincidence I think not. This place hit the mark. Meat good, beans delicious, banana pudding bowl licking awesome. Also sweet tea the right way not out of the tap but brewed there. Worth every dollar bill spent.

In town for kids sports and this was a wonderful surprise close to our hotel. Some of the best BBQ I’ve had. A salty rub with a good, mild sweet/tangy sauce. Portions were generous and good value. Excellent service and great food.

The young gal that helped me choose my dinner meal was very helpful in helping me choose my meal. I had the Turkey and sausage meal. The meats were tender and delicious. I also had their Bread Pudding. It was awesome! The dinning area is large with generous seating with the classic paper towel rack at every table. The walls are covered with pictures from this treasured eatery.

Quick service even during lunchtime on a weekday. Good brisket sandwich which tasted even better with KC's BBQ. Good temperature and the bread wasn't saggy. Great banana pudding. Although it was packed, I walked inside, got in line, and it took about 5 min until I had my order in my hands and was trying to find a table. The table turnover is quick and the staff is also quick in cleaning it.

This place has a picture of Paul Rudd on the wall with his favorite sandwich. He is from this local area and this is one of his favorite restaurants. This place had also been written up with a fantastic review by the great belated Anthony Bourdain. These are some of the best burnt ends I have ever had in my life. If you get the combo plate with three ribs and burnt ends, you can’t go wrong! The ribs were gigantic with so much meat on them. They were moist and tender with the perfect rub. I did not even add any barbecue sauce because the rub was so delicious on the ribs. I would say the same thing about the burnt ends as far as being moist and tender without having too many chunks of fat. They had just the perfect amount, and both barbecue sauces are delicious, but I liked the regular a little bit better than the spicy. I highly recommend this place to anybody visiting town!

Fantastic KC BBQ. The best BBQ in kc! I got the burnt end platter with fries, beans, and toast. I have had Joe's many times and it never disappoints. From the ribs to the fries and the sauce or seasoning you can't go wrong.

I am not a big BBQ fan but this food was stellar. Got the burnt ends, mac n cheese, and corn and everything was cooked perfectly. There was a line to the door the entire time we were there, but the line moves quickly. Really good staff, friendly and efficient. Great vibes
